Retail and shopping centres carry above-average visitor density per square metre. Food courts, entrances, and shared corridors soil quickly and manual cleaning often struggles to maintain a uniform standard centre-wide, especially during sales, holidays, and event peaks.

Autonomous overnight cycles reset the entire common-area surface in 5-8 hours, guaranteeing open-ready status every morning while the cleaning team focuses on detail surfaces and live in-hours incidents.

The CC1 manages tile, polished concrete, stone, and vinyl: the most common surfaces in Swedish shopping centres. Its 700-1,000 m²/h capacity covers a typical 6,000-10,000 m² shared area in a single overnight pass.

Per-cycle digital reports can be shared directly with tenants and the property owner, evidencing cleaning quality across the centre and supporting tenant SLAs.

LIVSFS 2005:20 (food safety regulations) applies in centres with restaurant tenants and supermarkets; AFS 2020:1 covers workplace design for the staff working in the centre. Documented robot cycles support both regimes.

Where centres host frequent promotional events, additional mid-morning passes can be scheduled so foot-traffic peaks never compound onto the next overnight cycle.
